Home News Morgan Sindall Group awarded Armed Forces Covenant Gold accreditation
Tuesday, 22nd July 2025
Morgan Lovell, a proud Morgan Sindall Group company, celebrates being awarded the Armed Forces Covenant Gold accreditation alongside its sister companies. This is the highest recognition in the UK’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
This award celebrates the Group’s collective ongoing commitment to supporting the armed forces community including veterans, reservists, service families and cadet force volunteers across all its businesses.
To achieve Gold status, the Group companies have all demonstrated leadership in several key areas: from flexible leave for reservists, to career transition support for veterans and active promotion of the Armed Forces Covenant.
“We’re incredibly proud to have received the Gold Award,” said Gemma Warren, Head of HR at Morgan Lovell. “Veterans bring exceptional discipline, leadership and resilience. Their skills have strengthened our teams and this award reflects the inclusive culture that is integral to all the Morgan Sindall Group companies.”
This is Nick Faith’s story, an ex-Royal Artillery Captain, and one of the reasons we the Group has been recognised with the Armed Forces Covenant Gold standard:
"I left the Royal Artillery in 2008 after seven years’ service. The transition can be challenging as it is a unique environment to move on from. My first role was in PwC’s consulting business, where I worked with clients to support the change management and capability development elements of business transformation programmes.
In 2014, I came across Morgan Sindall’s Fit Out division through the work they were doing to refurbish PwC’s Embankment Place office. I had no idea what fit out was, but the opportunity stood out. Since then, I have continued to build on the leadership, change, capability and training skills I developed in the Royal Artillery.
Morgan Sindall’s Fit Out companies, Morgan Lovell and Overbury, have confidence, maturity and ambition. Within that, I have the autonomy to support change and help us develop our skill sets as we scale.
For veterans, I think fit out is a brilliant option. It is fast paced, varied and leadership driven. It naturally draws on the strengths people build in the military." Nick Faith, Exceptional Experience Training Manager
